Pompey in the Community are currently working on a community project in the heart of Portsmouth. The new sports facility will become a central hub for the community โ for people to train, learn, play and, most importantly, belong and grow. The John Jenkins Stadium will be home to Pompey in the Community where we will run projects and programmes for thousands of school children, disability sport groups and members of the public every week, 52 weeks of the year.
We now need YOUR help to build the youth of Portsmouth a facility where they can belong. The envelope will be complete soon and now we just need to get it fitted out and finished. We are looking for volunteers with experience in trades to help us finish our project.
We need to fit out our toilets, changing rooms, boxing gym, dance studio, cafรฉ, and offices as well as landscaping exterior areas. Can you help us?
